Casablanca – Attijariwafa Bank has introduced a fully digital virtual payment card, marking a new stage in the development of electronic payments in Morocco as banks continue to expand online and mobile-based financial services.

The new solution, known as the Virtual Card, is designed specifically for online transactions and is available exclusively through the Attijari Mobile application. Customers can generate a digital payment card instantly and begin using it immediately after completing the registration process, without the need to wait for a physical card to be produced and delivered.

The launch reflects growing demand for secure and flexible payment tools as e-commerce gains momentum in Morocco and internationally. By offering a fully dematerialized card that exists only in digital form, the bank aims to simplify online purchasing while providing additional safeguards against fraud and unauthorized use.
