Casablanca – Emirates has announced the launch of a second daily flight connecting Morocco to Tokyo Narita via Dubai, starting May 1, 2026. The new service will give Moroccan travelers more options to reach East Asia while improving connections to Europe, Africa, and South America. This move is part of Emirates’ strategy to expand its long-haul network and strengthen multi-destination travel through its Dubai hub.

The additional flight, EK320, will be operated by a refurbished Boeing 777‑300ER in a four-class layout, including Premium Economy. EK320 departs Dubai at 10:30 p.m. local time and arrives in Tokyo Narita at 1:30 p.m. the following day. The return flight, EK321, departs Narita at 9:30 p.m. and lands in Dubai at 3:50 a.m. the next morning (all local times).

The second daily flight offers Moroccan passengers greater flexibility for both business and leisure travel. Passengers traveling eastbound will arrive in the afternoon, allowing shorter transfer times from key European and Middle Eastern markets. Westbound travelers from Narita will reach Dubai early in the morning, enabling seamless connections directly to Morocco or onward to other major destinations in Europe, Africa, and South America, including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Egypt, Tunisia, and Brazil.

The refurbished Boeing 777‑300ER provides a modern travel experience with 260 Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats in a 1‑2‑1 configuration, and eight First Class suites. The cabin features updated color palettes, Ghaf tree-inspired motifs, and wood finishes throughout. Onboard dining includes Japanese-inspired meals, such as Kaiseki sets, while passengers have access to more than 6,500 on-demand entertainment options through Emirates’ award-winning ice system, including Japanese-language content.

This expansion comes as Morocco continues to see steady growth in international travelers. Emirates has employed over 1,000 Moroccans on its flights, highlighting the appeal of the Moroccan market. The airline’s network serves several Moroccan cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Fès, Marrakech, and Tangier, offering both passenger and cargo services to support trade between Morocco and global markets.

On the cargo side, the second weekly flight adds capacity, with a total weekly cargo capability of approximately 1,240 tons between Morocco and Japan. This supports the export of Moroccan products to Asian, European, and Gulf markets and complements Emirates SkyCargo’s weekly freighter operations connecting Narita to East Asia.

Through codeshare and interline partnerships with Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA), Moroccan travelers can access 36 destinations across Japan, including 26 domestic and 10 regional locations, via flights to Narita, Haneda, and Osaka. The second daily Narita service strengthens these connections, providing more flexible schedules and shorter transit times.

With this new service, Emirates demonstrates its commitment to delivering a seamless travel experience for Moroccan passengers, whether for business or leisure. The flight expansion enhances Morocco’s international connectivity, increases passenger and cargo capacity, and strengthens links with Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
