Casablanca – Aya Gold & Silver Inc., a leading Canadian silver mining company known for its operations in Morocco, has announced exciting new developments from its 2024 exploration program at the Boumadine project. The company, which operates the high-grade Zgounder Silver Mine and explores additional properties in Morocco, has reported high-grade drilling results from a substantial 120,000-meter drilling campaign at Boumadine, located in the Draâ-Tafilalet region, southeast Morocco.

Recent drilling has extended the main mineralized trend at Boumadine by 400 meters, now reaching a total strike length of 5.4 kilometers. Notably, drill hole BOU-DD24-376 intercepted 462 grams per tonne of silver equivalent over 2.8 meters, with section of 2.0 meters at 494 grams per tonne of silver equivalent. Another significant result from BOU-DD24-329 revealed a new style of mineralization with exceptionally high grades of 1,937 grams per tonne of silver and 1.66% copper over 1.9 meters. These results highlight the significant potential for resource growth at Boumadine.

The company’s exploration efforts have also confirmed the continuity and high grade of the Tizi Zone, with BOU-DD24-340 intersecting 412 grams per tonne of silver equivalent over 3.1 meters, including 1.1 meters at 708 grams per tonne of silver equivalent. The positive results from the geophysical surveys and the forthcoming 3D inversion will be instrumental in identifying additional parallel zones and expanding Boumadine both laterally and at depth.

Aya Gold & Silver’s recent drilling campaign at Boumadine included 129 diamond drill holes and 2 reverse circulation holes, totaling 63,469 meters. The results received so far affirm the high-grade continuity of the Boumadine Main Trend, which remains open in all directions. The drilling results, including those from BOU-DD24-376 and BOU-DD24-369, extend the mineralized strike length and confirm the high grade and continuity of the Tizi Zone.

The company plans to continue its exploration efforts with ten drill rigs mobilized to complete the 120,000-meter drilling program. Half of the program will focus on testing the continuation of the known trend and infill drilling, while the other half will target new geological prospects identified through recent hyperspectral and geophysical surveys.

Aya Gold & Silver’s progress at Boumadine underscores its strategic position in the Moroccan mining sector and the potential for further significant discoveries in the region. The company’s commitment to advancing its exploration projects reflects its dedication to maximizing shareholder value and expanding its resource base.
