Casablanca– MP Industry Group, a subsidiary of Romania’s MEN Industry Group, has officially inaugurated its first factory in Morocco, marking a significant step in the country’s automotive manufacturing sector. Located within Tanger Automotive City at the Tanger Med industrial platform, the new facility will produce plastic components for the automotive industry using advanced injection molding technology.
Spanning 35,000 square meters, the factory represents an investment of approximately $43.5 million and is expected to create 150 direct jobs in the region. The facility is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring photovoltaic panels for renewable energy generation and recycling systems for plastic waste, aligning with Morocco’s commitment to eco-friendly industrial practices.
